Traditional system-level architectures employ Edge and cloud computing as separate entities because of a number of challenges; limited resources on edge, reliability, latency, and security aspect associated with communication between edge and cloud computing. With respect to the system architecture, generally, two implementation strategies are employed for applications involving edge or cloud computing.
